This department is responsible for HR advice and implementation aimed at improving teaching and research as well as the supporting processes.
The HR advisors, who are embedded with the units, are strategic discussion partners for faculty boards, division and institute heads, and the management teams of interfaculty units. They offer support and advice in relation to:
- recruitment and selection
- annual consultations
- employee career development
- remuneration issues
- employment terms and conditions
- staff policies
- staff and organisational issues in the broad sense
They also offer advice and mediation for individual issues.
