Hugo will focus on the possibilities for young professionals to set up new disruptive responses to complex challenges in an integrated way (society, environment, economy, security).

Frédérique ter Brugge is Managing Director of Amsterdam Light Festival Foundation and member of the International Light Festival Association.
Frédérique will shine a light on the international light festival scene and question the various dynamics from an artistic, social, sustainability and economic perspective. We will conclude The Boardroom-session with a boat cruise and visit the 10th edition of Amsterdam Light Festival.

VU alumni Michael Musandu and Ugnius Rimsa founded Lalaland in 2019. The #startup generates and hyper personalizes full human body models from head to toe by using #AI. As a result, models are available in different ethnicities, sizes and ages, allowing customers to always recognize themselves in the clothing of their choice.
Michael and Ugnius will share their insights into founding a startup and what it takes to achieve your goals.
Robot Law- 7 April 2022
Merel Dorgelo is a lawyer at SwitchLegal Laywers and a board member at the Dutch Association for Artificial Intelligence and Robot Law (NVAIR). Rob van den Hoven-van Genderen is professor of Artificial Intelligence and Robot Law at the University of Lapland, director of the VU Center of Law and Internet (CLI) and chairman of NVAIR.
Merel and Rob will take you along in the research into answering questions such as: Does a robot earn money? Does a robot deserve punishment? Can a robot start a procedure at the Amsterdam court? Does a robot have legal personality?
