The Service & Support team takes care of the rental of audiovisual equipment, provides advice and offers technical support for the use of AV resources in education and education-related events. Examples of rentable equipment are wireless microphones, video cameras, presentation displays and sound sets. To request rental, you can use the form "Request form installation AV systems".
In addition, we provide support and solutions with audiovisual resources during education. Education is one of the most important parts of the VU, and we ensure that any problems are solved quickly. For any questions, you can contact us during opening hours by phone through Servicedesk FCO.
When applying for a rental, it is important that all information is filled in completely, and that the application is submitted at least one week in advance, due to availability of equipment and employees. In addition, equipment may only be rented for use on the VU campus. Small equipment can be collected from the AVC during opening hours, or delivered to security in the Main Building outside opening hours. Major equipment is brought, installed and collected, these costs include the rental price. Finally, it is sometimes necessary to charge an hourly wage for operation by an AV technician for equipment. Our indicative list of rates can be found below under 'Indicative list of rates'.
The above information applies to VU employees, faculties and services of the VU. External parties must at all times contact Communication & Marketing (depending on the request, contact VU events, internal communication, design studio, team digital or Ad Valvas). Made costs are charged at all times. Equipment is charged per day per use and support is charged per hour.
