Personal information

Yueling Zhou is assistant professor at the department of Management and Organsation of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She earned her PhD from the Nova School of Business and Economics in Portugal (2024). Before starting her PhD, she worked for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company and a non-profit organization that bridges young entrepreneurs across Asia and Europe.

Yueling is a member of the European Mergers and Acquisitions Institute (eM&Ai), the European Academy of Management (EURAM), and the Academy of International Business (AIB).

Research

Her research interests focus on international mergers and acquisitions (M&As), strategic alliances, their interrelationships, and international market selection. She specializes in teaching International Business and Strategic Management. Her work has been published in Long Range Planning, and she is currently involved in several ongoing projects.
