Timon Udo is a PhD-candidate at the Criminology department, Faculty of Law. He obtained a bachelor's degree in both Criminology and Psychology and a master's degree in Criminology at the VU Amsterdam. His research is part of the Criminal Investigation DX (CIDX) project, in which rapid tests are developed that can be used to rapidly analyse traces at the crime scene. His research focuses on the influence of such rapid tests on the decision-making of crime scene investigators in order to develop a decision support system.
