Sabrine El Baroudi is an Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at the Department of Management and Organisation within the School of Business and Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands. She was also affiliated with the VU Knowledge Hub for Feedback Culture for 6 years, where she served in a leadership role and contributed to research in about feedback culture. Her academic work focuses on topics such as meaningful work, feedback, and proactive career behavior, bridging theory and practice in organizational settings. In addition to her research, she is engaged in teaching and mentoring students at undergraduate and graduate levels. She obtained her PhD in Organizational Behavior and Career Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2016.
Sabrine El Baroudi is actively involved in the international academic community through her role in organizing Professional Development Workshops (PDWs) and scholarly sessions. She has contributed to the organization of PDWs at the Academy of Management, where she brings together researchers and practitioners to exchange knowledge on topics such as feedback, meaningful work, and social safety in organizations. She has also played a key role in organizing workshops and contributing to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) conferences held in Marrakech. These events focus on fostering inclusive and socially safe work environments, aligning closely with her research interests. Through these initiatives, she facilitates dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across international audiences, further strengthening the impact and visibility of her work in both academic and practitioner communities. In addition, she is a visiting researcher at New York University Abu Dhabi, where she collaborates annually on research projects focused on diversity and employee proactivity.
