Jakob Lkk, keyboardist and electronic music musician, studied organ and composition (PhD) in The Hague, Paris, and London, and arthistory and philpsophy in Amsterdam. Received numerous music awards and worked with musicians and artists such as Nicolas Jaar, Philip Glass, Leonard Eto, Claire M Singer, Children of the Light, Mariëlle Videler, Zeno van den Broek, Oene van Geel. Composer of soundscapes for La Vilette in Paris, MU Hybrid Art House Eindhoven, galleries, exhibitions spaces. Former organist of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam, where he collaborated with director Jacqueline Grandjean and artists and musicians to create new music for the cathedral space, such as Giorgio Andreotta Calo, Marinus Boezem, Christian Boltanski, Herman Kolgen, Ellen Arkbro, Lucrecia Dalt. Co-founder of the yearly Organ in Situ week, an artistic research collaboration of Vrije Universiteit and the Orgelpark.
