Jakob Lkk, electronic music musician, studied organ and composition (PhD) in The Hague, Paris, and London, and arthistory and philpsophy in Amsterdam. Received numerous music awards and worked with leading musicians such as Nicolas Jaar, Philip Glass, Leonard Eto, Claire M Singer, Zeno van den Broek, Oene van Geel. Composer of soundscapes for La Vilette in Paris, MU Hybrid Art House Eindhoven, and Orgelpark Amsterdam. Former organist of the Sloterkerk, and the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam, where he collaborated with director Jacqueline Grandjean and artists and musicians to create new music for the cathedral space, such as Giorgio Andreotta Calo, Marinus Boezem, Christian Boltanski, Herman Kolgen, Ellen Arkbro, Lucrecia Dalt. Co-founder of the yearly Organ in Situ week, a collaboration of Vrije Universiteit and the Orgelpark.
