Jacob Lekkerkerker studied arthistory and philpsophy in Amsterdam, and music and composition in The Hague and London. Former curator at the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam, where he founded new music and sound art series, collaborating with director Jacqueline Grandjean and artists and musicians such as Giorgio Andreotta Calo, Marinus Boezem, Christian Boltanski, Cardiff & Miller, Herman Kolgen, Philip Glass, Nicolas Jaar and many others. Creator of soundscapes for La Vilette in Paris, MU Hybrid Art House Eindhoven, galleries, exhibitions spaces.
