Personal information
Peter Wierts is associate professor at VU Amsterdam and senior economist at the Financial Stability Division of De Nederlandsche Bank. Previously, he worked at the European Systemic Risk Board (short-term secondment, 2013), the European Commission (DG ECFIN; 2002-2005) and the Dutch Ministry of Finance (1996-2002). He holds a PhD from the University of Reading.
