The research takes a responsive approach to collaborative learning to find out what really matters to all stakeholders. We used various sources as input for the dialogue, including insights from observational research at Buurtcirkels. These are social networks of people who need guidance in order to live independently. The participants help each other with what they are good at. In this study, we look at the values that emerge in care giving and care relations. In addition to the observational study, 'Valuable Care in Rotterdam' consists of focus group research with employees of the policy department of the Municipality of Rotterdam. In this way we also add the policy staff's perspective on good care.
