Research
My studies focus on extraction of mechanisms of disease development based on omics data analysis, with emphasis on the role of alternative splicing. In particular, I am interested how alternative splicing rewires interaction networks in a tissue- and condition-specific manner. For this purpose, we also develop bioinformatics tools for alternative splicing-aware data analysis and evaluate existing approaches.
