Kees Blankman is endowed professor of Elder Law at the Faculty of Law of the Free University of Amsterdam. His expertise is in the area of measures and instruments to support and protect adults in need of support. He is involved in an ambitious Dutch research project aimed at improving the legal landscape for the elderly in the Netherlands and has recently conducted research on financial abuse and undue influence of the elderly. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the IGN and involved in several international projects.
