Dr. Karen Verduijn is employed by the School of Business and Economics of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Department of Management and Organization). Her research projects revolve around understanding the intricacies and politicality of entrepreneurial everyday life.

She has published in such journals as Organization, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Journal of Management Inquiry, International Small Business Journal, the International Review of Entrepreneurship, and the Journal of Enterprising Communities.

She is Editor-in-Chief with the Scandinavian Journal of Management, a board member of the Entrepreneurship Studies Network (special interest group of the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship), and the International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business.

The co-editing of a Special Issue for Entrepreneurship Education & Pedagogy on ‘Unsettling Entrepreneurship Education’, with Karin Berglund, Ulla Hytti and Marco van Gelderen
