Jasper de Bie is a Bachelor graduate in Criminology and a Master graduate in International Crimes and Criminology at VU University Amsterdam. In 2016 he published his PhD research on Jihadist Networks which he completed at Leiden University. For this research he also worked as a visiting scholar at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (NY, USA). He currently works on a research project focusing on the intersection of climate change and conflict.
