Jana is a PhD Candidate in the department of Management and Organisation at VU Amsterdam. She joined in February 2024 as part of the Smart4L research project funded by NWO.
She received her Master's degree in Learning and Development in Organisations from Maastricht University in 2023. Throughout her university studies, she has gained multiple international experiences at universities in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Chile.
Jana is interested in social and psychological mechanisms of learning, collaboration, and innovation in the multidisciplinary and interorganizational context.
Within the Smart4L project, she focuses on Learning Communities in the Dutch logistics industry using both qualitative and quantitative research designs.
Jana is involved in the Bachelor program International Business Administration. She teaches tutorials and supervises student theses.
