Gregor Halff is Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and Full Professor of Corporate Communication. Before joining Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Gregor was a Dean and member of the Executive Board at Copenhagen Business School and previously spent a decade – most recently as a Professor of Corporate Communication and Deputy Dean – at Singapore Management University. Gregor’s research and teaching focus on public relations and leadership communication. He has held visiting roles at University of Jyväskylä (Finland), ESMT Berlin, and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. From 2014-2016, Gregor was the elected Chair of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, the federation of the communication profession representing ca. 300 000 members. Prior to re-joining academia, Gregor was managing partner at Publicis Groupe, the world’s third largest advertising network.
