Esther Maas is Assistant Professor in Methodology and Biostatistics, at the Department of Health Sciences. Furthermore, she is a member of the program board of the Musculoskeletal Health Program of the Amsterdam Movement Sciences (AMS) Research Institute.
As an epidemiologist, specialized in Musculoskeletal Health, Health Technology Assessment and occupational health, she has extensive knowledge in studying the cost-effectiveness of a variety of treatments for people with musculoskeletal health, sometimes in an occupational setting.
His current research, funded by: World Health Organisation, Netherlands Organisation for Health Research & Development (ZonMW), Dutch Belgium Research Institute for Chiropractic (DBRIC), VU Faculty of Science include:
