I received a BSc in Interdisciplinary Sciences from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in 2015. In 2017 I started the MSc program in Mathematics at UvA, during which I specialized in Analysis and Dynamical Systems Theory. I obtained the MSc degree in 2019, after completing a Master thesis project on homoclinic bifurcations under supervision of prof. dr. Yuri A. Kuznetsov and prof. dr. Ale Jan Homburg. I am currently working on a PhD thesis at the mathematics department of the VU in collaboration with dr. Daniele Avitabile and prof. dr. Jan Bouwe van den Berg.

Research
My research at the VU concerns functional analytic theory for evolution equations with slowly evolving parameters. In particular, I am interested in applying such theory to Neural Field Equations, which are spatially-extended systems that hold relevance to theoretical neuroscience.
