Research
My research focuses on the responsible integration of generative AI, teacher agency, and active learning in university STEM education, with particular emphasis on the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Discovery Sciences context. I investigate how generative AI and other educational technologies can be used responsibly to support student learning, particularly through approaches that foster reflection and (peer) feedback to develop academic skills. My work also examines how university teaching staff can be supported and motivated to develop greater agency in their educational practice. Across these areas, I aim to translate educational research into practical, evidence-based innovations for implementation in university education.
