Caterina Ceccato is a PhD candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a researcher within the ROBOT-BOND project. She holds a degree in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence from Tilburg University, where she participated in multiple research initiatives. Her research focuses on Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) and their applications in social robotics. Specifically, she investigates human-robot interactions, examining both subjective aspects—such as human perceptions and engagement with robots—and neural mechanisms, utilizing EEG to analyze brain activity during these interactions. Her objective is to contribute to improving communication and collaboration between humans and robots.
