Caroline obtained her PhD in applied mathematics at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) in 2017. After that, she spent two years as a postdoc at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She also worked part time at ORTEC from 2011 till 2018. In 2020, she started working at the Vrije Universiteit.

Caroline lead team Team ‘Coka Coders’ in the optimization challenge from the EURO working group for Vehicle Routing and Logistics (VeRoLog).
NWO Rubicon grant 2018
This funded Caroline's position as a postdoc at the University of Auckland for two years.
