Dat stimuleert het contact tussen internationale en Nederlandse collega’s en het geleerde is goed bruikbaar in het dagelijks leven in Nederland. In de maatwerkcursus is op een speelse, informele manier informatie opgenomen over gebruiken, normen en waarden in Nederland. Thema’s zijn bijvoorbeeld jezelf introduceren, de weg vragen en praten over eten en drinken, het weer, de buurt, sport, het sociale leven, het weekend, de vakantie en een praatje maken ‘bij de koffieautomaat’.
