My PhD project is to investigate how retail activities influence consumer behavior related to food waste in grocery stores and at home. Even though I do not work in a Psychology department, I’m using knowledge and skills acquired from the Psychology program every day, including but not limited to classic psychological theories, experimental design, and statistical analyses. This essential knowledge and skills can also be applied to many other topics in social science. In this respect, my psychological background does help a lot with my academic career.
