In this role, I work with a wide range of companies, from large corporates to small family-run businesses. During the MBA, you learn about many different aspects of the business world, which also helps me, for example, to better understand a tech start-up I am currently working for.
What course or element from the MBA programme has stuck with you the most?
I have particularly benefited from the finance component, as it has given me greater insight into how to analyse and quantify markets. However, what has stayed with me the most are the lessons from the personal coaching sessions. You have around six sessions that you can schedule yourself over the course of a year. During these, you and the coach focus on situations from your work, reflecting together on how you arrive at certain decisions and what may help you achieve better results in the future. You learn to look at your own actions from different perspectives. This can sometimes be confronting, but above all it is highly valuable and educational.
