Students completing the Spatial and Applied Economics master programme are generally good at analysing economic issues and performing econometric analyses. Particularly students that have experience with social costs benefit analysis, aviation or energy especially will be very useful for SEO.

“SEO is affiliated with the UvA (University of Amsterdam) and conducts independent applied economic research on behalf of government and companies. We are strong in quantitative research methods and we specialize in, among other things, SCBA, aviation economics and energy economics.
SEO has approximately 50 employees, 40 of whom are economists and econometricians. Most researchers are young. The atmosphere is informal. We work on projects in teams on projects.
