I am a South African Visual Communication student from Stellenbosch University who attended the Entrepreneurship Summer School at VU Amsterdam, in July 2024.
This Summer school taught me valuable lessons about business and what is required to start your own initiative, from creating your pitch to attracting investors.
I formed wonderful friendships with students from all over the world, especially with my team that I worked with. It was very special to share stories from our home countries as we walked to class every morning and we explored the city together. One of my favourite memories is watching the South African rugby team playing at a bar with all the international students. And teaching them South African phrases.
I would recommend this Summer School to anyone with an adventurous spirit and keen interest in learning. 12/10!
