Josemaria Tito Pendola completed the master’s in Environmental Economics at VU Amsterdam in 2024. He now works at Data Science Research Peru, where he develops educational content on sustainability and data science for young professionals.
“The programme gave me a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of topics within spatial economics while specialising in my own field of interest. Its interdisciplinary approach helped me transition from a background in political science into a well-rounded economist with both theoretical and applied skills.”
He especially valued the professors’ expertise and the opportunities to connect with institutions and professionals working on real-world challenges. “Their guidance significantly enhanced my development and prepared me for the career I’m pursuing today.”
