Dr. Ellen Langemeijer

Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences
Ellen Langemeijer is project manager of the department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, based within Molecular and Computational Toxicology.

Personal information 

Ellen is currently involved as EU-project manager in RISKHUNT-3R and NWO project VHP4Safety. Besides these, the MSCA-ITN ONCORNET2.0 (coordinated by Prof. Dr Martine Smit, MedChem) and the FREIA-project and EURION-cluster coordination (with coordinator Majorie van Duursen, E&H) are her main focus points in 2023.    

Ellen helps in grant applications as well. She did her PhD within the Medicinal Chemistry research group at the VU on chemokine receptors (GPCRs). After a postdoc, she was managing director of the VU research institute AIMMS from 2013-2017. Projects she was involved in include several EU and NWO-funded projects (e.g. MSCA-ITN in3-project, JRC-funded RDT-project, IMI-funded SafeSciMET)
