My PhD project focuses on the psychological mechanisms behind the continued influence effect of misinformation, and how effective interventions are in our fight against the spread of misinformation. Besides doing research, I also teach several courses and supervise theses. Many of the skills I need to succeed in this job, I learned during the Research Master, such as writing and presenting, data analyzing, properly discussing research, and critical and analytical thinking. These skills are necessary for a job in academia, but they are also valuable skills for life in general!
