Why did you choose the research master in Neurosciences at VU Amsterdam?
I have always been fascinated by the brain. After earning a broad bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, I was eager to delve deeper into neurology. When I learned about the Neuroscience Amsterdam community, I was immediately excited to join the Neurosciences Master's programme at VU.

What did you like the most about this research master? / What aspects of this master did you find most useful/interesting?
The lecturers are top researchers in the field, each one a leading expert in neuroscience. They not only possess the latest data but have also pioneered some of the foundational principles in the discipline. Their expertise provides invaluable insights into the field.

What are you doing now? / What is your current professional focus/occupation?
I would say that I am pursuing a somewhat different path compared to most alumni of the Neurosciences Master's programme. Currently, I work in the neurology medical affairs department at a pharmaceutical company. In this role, I collaborate with neurologists and researchers from various countries to design, support, and conduct new research aimed at advancing the field of multiple sclerosis (MS). Our ultimate goal is to chase the miracles of science in order to improve people’s lives.
