"As a psychology student, I was looking for courses which were going to be able to give me a lot of insight to the newest findings and trends in the field, and I am so thrilled to have gotten exactly that, given the professionalism from the professors and the lead that VU has in the world of psychology.
Amsterdam is my favourite city in the whole world, and each and every time I go there, it feels as if it's my first time over and over again. For me it's a city I feel the most comfortable in, the safest, and the most in love with. There are things to do in every corner for each and everyone, that even if you feel sad and blue, that only lasts a minute - sometimes even less.
During the weekends, I was able to visit many towns and sights in The Netherlands due to everything being well connected and close by. An amazing trip for me and my friends I met during the summer course was going to Utrecht, after our classes. Zaanse Schans is a must go place if you love cheese, Dutch culture and to be swayed by the chocolate smell from the factory nearby.
Meeting people from all around the world, getting to know different cultures, mindsets and personalities, as well as forming long lasting friendships is only possible through VU and I am forever grateful for that. I recommend VU Amsterdam Summer School to all without a doubt, it will be your most enriching and best experience in your life."
