Steven is a PhD candidate in political science and a junior lecturer for the VU’s Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) BSc program. He is interested in mixed-method and interdisciplinary research, and in how events from the (distant) past influence social/political attitudes and behaviors in the present day. His current research uses quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate World War II’s influence on 21st-century politics in the Netherlands.
