Rowena Blokker conducted her Ph.D. research at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She holds a research master’s degree (cum laude) in Social and Organizational Psychology from Leiden University. Her research focuses on school-to-work transitions, early career development, employability, and career shocks. She has a strong expertise in quantitative methods, including longitudinal research and latent variable modelling, and has been actively involved in academic and practitioner communities focused on work and careers. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Vocational Behavior, Work, Aging and Retirement, and Career Development International.
