Personal information

Robin Kautz is sinds 2024 als promovendus verbonden aan de afdeling Privaatrecht van de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Haar onderzoek richt zich op de juridische verplichtingen van bedrijven met betrekking tot hun scope 3-emissies, ook wel bekend als 'waardeketenemissies'. Zij doet dit onder begeleiding van Tim Bleeker en Lodewijk Smeehuijzen. 

Voordat zij aan haar promotieonderzoek begon heeft Kautz zowel de master International Business Law - Climate Change & Corporations (LLM cum laude) afgerond aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam als de master Privaatrecht - Commerciële Rechtspraktijk (LLM cum laude) aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. 

 

ENGLISH

Robin Kautz is a PhD Candidate in the department of Private Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since 2024. Her doctoral research focuses on the legal obligations of corporations in the European Union with regard to their 'scope 3' or global value chain emissions. She does this under the supervision of Tim Bleeker and Lodewijk Smeehuijzen. 

Before starting her PhD research, Kautz completed the masters International Business Law - Climate Change & Corporations at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Private Law - Commercial Legal Practice at University of Amsterdam with distinction.
