Personal information

Robin Kautz is sinds 2024 als promovendus verbonden aan de afdeling Privaatrecht van de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Zij onderzoekt hoe bedrijven invulling geven aan de verplichting voortvloeiend uit artikel 22 CSDDD om een klimaattransitieplan op te stellen en te implementeren. Zij doet dit onder begeleiding van Tim Bleeker en Lodewijk Smeehuijzen. 

Voordat zij aan haar promotieonderzoek begon heeft Kautz zowel de master International Business Law - Climate Change & Corporations (LLM cum laude) afgerond aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam als de master Privaatrecht - Commerciële Rechtspraktijk (LLM cum laude) aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. 

 

ENGLISH

Robin Kautz is a PhD Candidate in the department of Private Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since 2024. She researches how companies fulfill the obligation arising from Article 22 CSDDD to adopt and put into effect a climate transition plan. She does this under the supervision of Tim Bleeker and Lodewijk Smeehuijzen. 

Before starting her PhD research, Kautz completed the masters International Business Law - Climate Change & Corporations at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Private Law - Commercial Legal Practice at University of Amsterdam with distinction.
