Mario van Vliet is member of the Executive Board of Deloitte NL, Managing Partner of Deloitte Consulting NL and holds a professor chair in Information&Technology Management at VU Amsterdam. Mario has a PhD in Operations Research from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and more than 20 years experience in Management Consulting, Information&Technology Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and IT systems. Prior to his career in consulting, he has been employed by Royal Dutch Shell and Unilever. Mario has published books and peer-reviewed papers in the field of operations research, logistic optimization and information technology management. He is a recognized management consultant in industry segment like manufacturing, trade&wholesale, retail and telecommunications. He serves in the advisory board of the Holland International Distribution Council. Mario van Vliet has been appointed in the Top 25 of most influential management consultants in Dutch industry.
