Lisa van Reemst is Universitair Docent bij de criminologie-afdeling van de Faculteit Rechtsgeleerdheid van de Vrije Universiteit (VU). Lisa ontving haar Masterdiploma in de Sociale Psychologie (cum laude, 2010) bij de Universiteit Utrecht. Ze werkte bij de Universiteit Utrecht voordat ze startte als onderzoeker en docent bij de criminologie-afdeling van de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam in 2011. In maart 2020 promoveerde zij bij de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. Lisa startte bij de VU in 2021.

Lisa van Reemst is Assistant Professor at the Criminology department, Faculty of Law of VU Amsterdam. Lisa obtained her Master of Science degree in Social Psychology (cum laude, 2010) at Utrecht University. She worked at Utrecht University, before starting as a researcher and lecturer at the Criminology department of the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2011. In March 2020, she obtained her PhD degree at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Lisa started working for VU Amsterdam in 2021.

Lisa van Reemst haar onderzoeksinteresse zijn:

agressie tegen medewerkers (waaronder hulpverleners en de politie);
slachtofferschap (bijvoorbeeld het verklaren van slachtofferschap, herhaald slachtofferschap en ervaringsdeskundigheid);
medewerker-burger interactie in het algemeen;
psychologische (persoonlijkheid etc.) kenmerken;
offline en online processen bij slachtofferschap en daderschap.

Projectleider voor ViNe: Kennisnetwerk Victimologie in Nederland
Redactielid van het 'Tijdschrift voor Criminologie'
Mede-organisator van de 'Divisie Victimologie' van de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Criminologie (NVC)

English:

Lisa van Reemst's research interests are:

aggression against employees (among which emergency responders/first responders and the police);
victimization (e.g. explaining victimization, repeat victimization, experiential expertise);
employee-citizen interaction
psychological (personality etc) characteristics;
offline and online mechanisms in victimization and offending.

Lisa is a:

Project leader for ViNe (Dutch victimology network/Kennisnetwerk Victimologie in Nederland)
Member of the editorial board of the 'Tijdschrift voor Criminologie'
Organising member of the 'Divisie Victimologie' of the NVC
