Joël Hendrix is postdoctoraal onderzoeker op het project Sociale Veiligheid in Hoge Onderwijs en Wetenschap gefinancierd door de Regiegroep Sociale Veiligheid in Hoger Onderwijs en Wetenschap van het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap. Binnen dit project doet zij onderzoek naar de effectiviteit van interventies op het gebied van sociale veiligheid in de context van het hoger onderwijs en de wetenschap. Hierbij wordt gekeken naar interventies met als doel de sociale veiligheid te vergroten voor verschillende doelgroepen, zoals studenten, PhD-kandidaten en leidinggevenden, en voor interacties tussen deze doelgroepen. Het doel van het onderzoek is om inzichtelijk te maken wat de kenmerken zijn van succesvolle sociale veiligheidsinterventies en hoe deze in de praktijk kunnen worden toegepast op hogescholen en universiteiten.

 

English:

Joël Hendrix is a postdoctoral researcher on the Social Safety in Higher Education and Academia project, funded by the Steering Group on Social Safety in Higher Education and Science of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in the Netherlands. Within this project, she conducts research into the effectiveness of social safety interventions in the context of higher education and science. This involves examining interventions that aim to enhance social safety for various target groups, such as students, PhD candidates, and managers, as well as for interactions between these groups. The aim of the research is to provide insight into the characteristics of successful social safety interventions and how these can be applied in practice at universities of applied sciences and universities.
