Josef Bruers has a degree in sociology and is appointed to the endowed chair 'Quality of Oral Care in the daily practice', which is supported by the royal Dutch Dental Association. Bruers is interested in practise-based research of oral health care professionals, in particular the application of clinical and evidence-based knowledge.
