social scientist – communication science – reasoned action approach – theory of planned behavior – message content determination – interested in the prediction of human behavior and in the impact of communication on behavior across domains (e.g., health, sustainability)
My research focuses on understanding the motivations behind people's behaviors, particularly in relation to health and sustainability. By examining these motivations, I aim to inform the design of interventions and communication campaigns that promote behavior change—encouraging shifts from unhealthy or unsustainable practices to healthier and more sustainable ones. I primarily use surveys and experiments, guided by the Reasoned Action Approach, to identify key drivers of behavior and provide insights that others can use to tailor their intervention content.
