Research

Efrat Gommeh is a postdoctoral fellow at the Athena Institute, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her research lies in the intersection of science and technology studies, design thinking, and (food) systems transformation.

Her work contributes to FoSSNet, a Horizon Europe–funded project dedicated to advancing open and inclusive science and education for food systems transformation.

Both within and outside this project, she explores how design (thinking) methods can foster transdisciplinary knowledge co-construction with a wide range of academic and societal partners.
