Personal information

My research focuses on understanding human behavior in context, with particular attention to stress, mental health, neurodiversity, and the interactions between biological, psychological, and environmental factors. I study how individual differences emerge and influence behavior over time. Complex human behavior cannot be fully understood in isolation, and I prioritize integrative, multi-level approaches that preserve relationships across biological, psychological, and contextual domains.

A key focus of my work is real-world data collection. I use ecological momentary assessment, wearable sensors, and physiological recordings to study how the body and brain communicate in everyday life. By combining these data with psychometric, social, and environmental measures, I examine how mental, social, and contextual factors influence physiological regulation and behavioral outcomes. This approach allows me to understand stress and adaptation as they naturally unfold, capturing the interplay between internal processes and external circumstances.

In analysis, I apply a diverse set of approaches, from traditional linear and multilevel models to dynamic, machine learning, and network-based methods. This flexibility allows me to detect patterns across levels, integrate diverse sources of information, and maintain the relationships between biological, psychological, and environmental factors. By combining these methods, I can capture the nuance and variability inherent in human behavior rather than reducing it to simplified summaries.

My work emphasizes rigorous study design, ethical responsibility, and transparency throughout the research process. I collaborate across disciplines and promote open data and shared methods to ensure that knowledge production is inclusive and cumulative. Through this integrative approach, I aim to generate insights that are not only scientifically robust but also relevant to understanding and supporting human well-being.

Note: I obtained my PhD September 12 2023. I do not know why the system has not updated this. If you know how to can you kindly let me know?
