PhD Candidate, Faculty of Science, Environmental Geography

Personal information

Davide is a PhD candidate in Environmental Geography at the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focuses on assessing the impacts of European policies on land use change and related environmental externalities, such as nitrogen emissions and carbon dynamics.

Before his PhD, Davide completed an internship with the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) in the Soil, Water, and Agronomy department in Rabat, Morocco. He holds a BSc in Agronomy from the University of Bologna and an MSc in Resilient Farming and Food Systems from Wageningen University & Research.

Davide has a strong personal interest in complex systems modelling and the societal impacts of policy interventions.
