Christine Teelken works as professor of Organizational Change at the VU Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is member of management team of the department of Organization Sciences, and director of the bachelor program Public Administration and Organization Sciences. She chairs the research group Organisational Change. She was link convenor of the ECER network 22, research in higher education from 2014 until 2020 and member of the OECD project group 'research precariat'. Her research focusses on (post) academic careers such as postdoctoral researchers, and gender diversity in academia. She has published widely in a range of journals in the field of higher education (Studies in Higher Education, Higher Education, Research in Higher Education) and Governance sciences. Since August 2020 until August 2023, she was editor for Higher Education Quarterly.
