Christina Rott is an Associate Professor in the department of Management and Organization at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She obtained her PhD at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2014. Subsequently, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Maastricht University. Research visits took her to Columbia Business School in the City of New York and the Rady School of Management at the University of California in San Diego.

Christina Rott's research centers around understanding individuals' behavior in organizations and in the labor market. Her research goal is to foster work and learn environments where all individuals can develop their full potential and thrive. Her research has appeared in journals such as Management Science, Journal of Human Resources, and Experimental Economics.
Christina Rott teaches executive, graduate and undergraduate courses on people's (strategic) behavior in business and society, performance management, and strategic human resource management. From 2025 to 2026, she served as Programme Committee chair of the MSc programme in Business Administration at the School of Business and Economics.
