As an organizational researcher specializing in ethnographic methods and co-design, I study collaborative spaces and community entrepreneurship within the context of urban transitions. You can find me in impact hubs, P2P communities, living labs, or coworking, hacker, and maker spaces, researching new organizational forms suited for today's planetary challenges.
Within the team science platform, Organizing Social Transformation, I focus on themes such as collaborative governance and budgeting, community entrepreneurship/commons, or steward ownership. In a joint project with TU Delft and Twynstra Gudde, we are exploring joint value creation as a decisive factor in mission-driven multi-stakeholder coalitions.
I am an Affiliate of the Discipline of Strategy, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at the University of Sydney Business School and served as a Mobility Fellow of the Swiss National Science Foundation at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. Beyond the ivory tower, I work as a consultant and trainer around creative leadership and collaboration design. I have developed an innovative pedagogy that combines arts-based methods, serious play, and adult development theory to foster creativity and responsible innovation.
