Background
As an applied communication scientist with a PhD in ethics of participation, Barbara has been active in engagement and creativity for 20 years. Her interest lies in promoting health, well-being and resilience, especially for people living in situations of vulnerability through participatory research. Barbara has working experience in various sectors, from care and prevention (GGD, rehabilitation, hospital), business (co-creation and qualitative market research), research (knowledge institutes, (medical) universities, and colleges) to the client movement.

- Advancing the ethics, quality and creativity of participatory research.
- Qualitative and ats-based research around health and well-being.
- Innovation of qualitative creative methodology.
