Personal information
Arantza Estevez Fernandez obtained her PhD in Operations Research from Tilburg University in 2006. After a postdoctoral appointment at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), she joined the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2007.
Between 2011 and 2022, she served as a member of the Examination Board of the School of Business and Economics. From 2022 to 2025, she coordinated the BSc programmes in Econometrics and Operations Research and in Econometrics and Data Science. In 2025, she stepped down from the coordinator role to become the programme director of both BSc programmes.
