Personal information

Anne de Hingh promoveerde in 2000 (Faculteit Archeologie, Universiteit Leiden). Zij werkte achtereenvolgens als algemeen coördinator in de museumsector, als beleidsadviseur en als free lance onderzoeker en publicist. Na haar studie Rechtsgeleerdheid aan de VU (2010-2014) was zij onder meer werkzaam als redactiesecretaris van AMI (Tijdschrift voor auteurs-, media- en informatierecht) en Mediaforum (Tijdschrift voor media- en communicatierecht). Sinds 2015 is zij verbonden aan de VU als universitair docent Internetrecht bij de sectie Internetrecht (afdeling Transnational Legal Studies).

 

Anne de Hingh finished her PhD-thesis in 2000 (Faculty of Archaeology, University of  Leiden). She worked as general coordinator of the municipal museums of the City of Antwerp, as consultant and as a free lance researcher and publicist. Anne de Hingh studied law at the Vrije Universiteit from where she graduated in 2014. She has worked at deLex Publishers as an editorial secretary for the IP-journals AMI (Tijdschrift voor auteurs-, media- en informatierecht) and Mediaforum (Tijdschrift voor media- en communicatierecht). Since 2015 she has worked at the VU as an assistant professor of Internet Law.

Research

Neemt deel aan het facultaire onderzoeksprogramma Boundaries of Law.

Participates in the “Law and Technology" faculty research programme.
