I work as Lecturer in Academic English for the ALP, teaching academic writing in a range of courses. Meanwhile, I also conduct research in Film, Television and Media studies.

My research interests include the translation of audiovisual media and transcultural aspects of media texts, especially comedy. I have published and presented on transcultural/transnational comedy in a number of platforms, including the Journal of Animation Studies; annual SCMS, MeCCSA and BAFTSS conferences; and the recently published collection on Monty Python's Flying Circus, And Now for Something Completely Different.
