My research spans interdisciplinary and transnational studies, with a particular focus on inclusive educational practices and environments. I investigate the design of inclusive curricula, explore the Mixed Classroom Educational Model, and examine transcultural movements—especially in language and poetry.
For my doctoral dissertation, I traced the journey of the ancient Arabic ghazal to the United States, illuminating the dynamics of transnational poetry and cultural mobility. Although scholars have long scrutinized the global circulation of cultural forms like food and music, the migration of poetic structures has received scant attention. My work fills this gap by analyzing how the ghazal’s migration reshapes both its original and adoptive literary landscapes.
