Ahdiyeh (Ahdi) Alipour is a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her project challenges the reliance on generic user models by investigating how human factors shape human-AI interaction. Her PhD research focuses on designing responsible and inclusive AI agents for diverse user groups. She holds an MSc in Communication and Information Science from Tilburg University. Her previous work investigated the impact of the Uncanny Valley Effect (an eerie feeling toward almost-but-not-quite human AI agents) on trust in human-AI interaction.
